CURRENT SHOW
”It Means: God is Great”

”It Means: God is Great” is a collection of textile work by @gizellehadeed. The exhibit opens Friday, April 10 in Bud’s Room upstairs at Base Camp 2. This show has been in the works for months, but couldn’t be more topical than right now.

The exhibit is an exploration of reckoning with being a Middle Eastern diaspora kid—now as an adult. The guilt of being an American while your parent’s homeland continues to border on ceasing to exist. The work is anecdotal, and merges growing up with 2000s era technology and Gizelle’s own thread.

Mark your calendar now for April’s @belltownartwalk and plan to see “It Means: God is Great” in Bud’s Room upstairs at Base Camp 2🤘🏼
