Crackling embers. Big skies and bright stars. S’mores and waking up in wood-smoked sweatshirts. These are sights, sounds, and smells associated with it. 🔥 🌌 💨

We like when you broadly interpret the theme. So gather your lasso and think old-timey country-ish themes (John Wayne, The Marlboro Man, horses and tumbleweeds) or futuristic country (robots in Stetsons, anyone?). Think thematically—what makes someone a cowboy, a cowgirl—spurs and chaps? We’re looking for beautiful, thoughtful, well-crafted pieces that reflect on the show’s theme, push the artistic limit, and further the conversation, whether that’s through medium, composition, subject matter or whatever is going through your creative brain. Want to turn the gallery ceiling into a starry sky? Project a 2-story campfire? Tower a tumbleweed sculpture smack dab in the middle of the exhibit?

Key Dates
Submissions are due by 11:59pm on May 18.

Selected artists will be notified by May 21.

Drop-off dates and times will be May 25, 26, 31 and June 1 during gallery hours (Friday 2-6pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 12-4pm).

Show will open Saturday, June 8 from 4-6pm(ish) and run through Sunday, June 30.

Belltown Art Walk will be on Friday, June 14. Artist panel discussion will be Saturday, June 22.
