The Cotton Candy Show: Call for Art Deadline

The theme of this Cotton Candy show is all about that sweet, sweet sugary life! Think careless summertime fun. Iridescent sunsets from a slow-spinning Ferris wheel. Warm and breezy neon nights. Laughter and “step right up” carnival sounds. Oversized stuffed animals and, of course, that wonderfully fluffy, zero nutritional value, unnaturally sweet, every-color-of-the-rainbow cotton candy! 🍭☀️🎢⛱️👙🌈🍉🎡🍦🎆🎠🧸🎪🤹🏻‍♂️🃏

Your best POP ART would show well in this height-of-summer July exhibit. We’re also hopeful some surrealist pieces make it to this side of the fun house mirror. So, eat some candy and share with us your most sugar high work.

As always, we encourage you to push your creative limits. We love innovative, conversation-provoking work of all sizes, shapes, and mediums. We’re looking for thoughtful and beautiful work with strong ties back to the liberally interpreted cotton candy theme. We love and support your kooky installation ideas—sugar mountain anyone?! And, of course, we also love your traditional wall-hanging wonders! All we ask is that you help us understand how your work fits the Cotton Candy theme. We imagine this yummy show will feel like a gallery oasis amidst a summertime carnival. You can almost feel the sticky on your face!

We cannot wait to see what you spin up! We have so much love and gratitude for all that you do.
